There are far too many words about food out in the world. Too many food blogs, too many articles, too many books. This site is just another contribution to all that noise, one that doesn’t need to exist, doesn’t change the world, doesn’t revolutionize the idea of food writing.

And yet, here it is. Sorry about it.

In addition to several old posts (originally written from Feb. 2017 to July 2018), this blog also features material that previews, post-views, and inner-views a podcast that I’m working on. It’s about food from many angles, presented by a generalist food scholar who’s also an artist who’s also a media maker (me). Just like all those written words about food, there are also too many recorded words about food, and I am contributing to that noise as well.

So we’ll see. You’ll see. You’ll hear, too, perhaps.
